I engage in "color play" using familiar materials like paper, wood, acrylic paints, and wire.

When I see the landscapes of a new world in the shapes that emerge by chance, I want to share that story with many people.

May the rich world of "color play" become a seed of blessing, filling your heart with creativity.

1986年 大阪生まれ
2001年 中学卒業後、独学にて絵画・彫刻を学ぶ

大型の彫刻を中心にインスタレーションによる、個展・グループ展を開催
2016年 遺跡や古代のモチーフをコラージュしたデジタル作品、ふきだしを引用した
ペインティング作品を制作
2021年 過去の作品をリメイクした、NFT・動画制作を開始
2023年 「いろあそび」をコンセプトにオブジェを中心とした作品を展開

AKIKO KAWABATA

1986 Born in Osaka , Japan

2001 After graduating from junior high school , self-taught in painting and sculpture.Held solo and group exhibitions mainly focusing on large-scale sculptures and installations.

2016 created digital works collaging motifs of ruins and antiquity, and painting works incorporating speech bubbles.

2021 started creating NFTs and videos by remaking past works.

2023 developing works centered on objects with the concept of "color play.
